Before any bank said yes to us, we said yes to each other. The sòl, the church, the family table — these are how our community has saved and built for as long as we can remember. A group of people who trust each other, putting in together, taking turns lifting one another up. No interest. No bank. Just trust.
But trust has limits. A sòl only works with people you know — and one person who doesn’t pay can break the whole thing. So our circles stayed small, our reach stayed short, and too many of our people got pushed toward payday loans and predatory lenders that charged everything and gave back nothing.
Konekte exists to change that. We give the trust between our people the tools to reach further and hold stronger — so you can find trusted people beyond your own circle, see who keeps their word, and save with confidence. Not a new idea. The oldest idea we have, finally built for the way we live now.
We’re not outsiders bringing a product to the community. We are the community — and we’re building the place where it connects.
